Organized by ISGIL in patnership with ZAN Multi Concept LTD
Abuja came alive with joy and purpose as young girls from different schools gathered to celebrate themselves and gain knowledge about their power and value in government, the economy, and society.
The event, organized by the Initiatives for Social Inclusion and Grassroots Literacy (ISGIL) in partnership with ZAN Multi Concept LTD, aimed to inspire and equip young girls with the confidence and knowledge to become active contributors to national development.
In his welcome address, Mr. Owoseye Oluwayomi, Founder of ISGIL, encouraged the girls to believe in their potential, emphasizing that inclusion, education, and literacy are key to transforming communities.

The first guest speaker, Mrs. Maureen Kambai Aruwa, spoke on “Building Confidence and Leadership in Today’s Girls,” motivating participants to embrace self-belief and pursue leadership opportunities. The second speaker, Ms. Aisha Babaji, followed with a session on “Girls as Change Agents: Building Stronger Communities Through Action,” highlighting the power of girls to influence positive change.

One of the most exciting highlights of the Girls’ Day at Abuja celebration was the Fun, Games, and Talent Showcase, anchored by Ms. Caroline Aroke. The session was filled with laughter, energy, and creativity as girls from various schools participated enthusiastically in a range of engaging activities designed to build teamwork, confidence, and self-expression.
